Finishing finding problems in the school

Last week we started projects about finding problems within the school, and recently we found solutions for them. In my group we were working on animal abuse in the school (mainly ducks). We had three main solutions. Our moonshot was; Building a small wall around a specific area for the animals. Our safe bet was creating a restricted area where no one could go apart from the animals and our darling was creating houses  for the animals.

Starting to find problems within the school

On the 22 second of august 2017, LC7 started to find problems within the school to improve our learning environment. The main problems we found where; Little kids putting there whole mouth over the water fountain, Animals getting abused and devices being left out. For now we are not trying to solve the problems but we are just finding other little problems that tag on to the main problem.

Finishing the "Absorbing water with fire" project.

At the start of term three everyone in LC7 started a project. I wont talk to much about that though as I have already wrote a blog about it, but anyway just yesterday we presented our video to any parents or students willing to watch it. Personally i really enjoyed this project as it was very fun to do and fun to edit, concluding the experiment we got some feedback to add more pictures to our presentation. Teach it - Project (Process)

This term (Term 3) we have mainly been focused  on working on projects based around science. We had an opportunity to do one of three things; Teach it (Create a video teaching something about science), Science badge (Get given tasks around science and complete them) and Learn it (where you learn something about science). I chose "Teach it" because I thought it might be fun creating a video, I also decided to work with Evan. For our experiment we are doing an experiment called "Absorbing water with fire." To do this experiment we needed; A glass cup, a plate, a small candle that can fit under a cup, a lighter and some tap water.
